Volvo XC90 Gets High Marks from AJAC

Canadians have a new champion to cheer on as the Automobile Journalists Association of Canada (AJAC) has named the Volvo XC90 Best Large Premium Utility Vehicle in Canada for 2023. This recognition comes shortly after AJAC's Green Utility Vehicle of the Year victory with the XC40 Recharge in 2022.

With more than 1700 votes cast by AJAC experts, the 2023 Canadian Car and Utility Vehicle of the Year awards put newly designed and refreshed models to the test, each requiring a minimum number of ballots. The XC90's full-style, understated luxury appointments and standard safety features make it a perfect fit for this award, and it officially earned top honours in the Large Premium Utility segment.

“We’re pleased to see the continued recognition from the experts at AJAC,” said Matt Girgis, managing director, Volvo Car Canada Ltd. “With its long and esteemed history, the XC90 continues to impress, and we are thrilled to add this award to what has become a growing list of accolades for our brand.”
